THE PREMIERE FOR YOUNG PROFESSIONALS AND STUDENTS HONORING KING'S 40TH ANNIVERSARY:
NEXT WAVE ACTION SUMMIT ON FRIDAY, APRIL 4TH TO APRIL 6TH IN WASHINGTON, DC
RINGING FROM THE HALLS OF HOWARD UNIVERSITY BUSINESS SCHOOL TO THE PEWS OF SHILOH BAPTIST CHURCH.
JOIN US AS WE LIVE HISTORY.
WE ARE MAKING A CALL TO ACTION to young professionals and students to pick up the torch of change ensuring a quality of life for our generation and those to come.
Dr. King recognized we are all one. Yet in 2008, our homeland is threatened by messages to divide us by race, gender and age. Thus we destroy the goals of equity in humanity.
Human rights in America must be achieved by the will of the people. At the Summit, gain insight on trends in DC to reduce poverty, meet like-minded people, and develop the skills to match your passion to lead the next wave of change. Continuing the legacy of Dr. King, the goal is to build the next wave of change agents.
Closing the Gap in DC: Addressing the Inconvenient Truth of the TWO DCs.
Did you know that the sharp disparities between Ward 3 and Ward 8 in DC? How do we bridge the gap on health, education, economics, etc? Find out at the Next Wave.

· Network with emerging professionals and students who care about the community changes in DC
· Workshops on how to start, grow, protect, fund and market your social venture
· Meet nationally known but locally grown leaders in Washington, DC
